SEDIKOM is a liquid food supplement composed by Red Papaver, Sundews, Thyme, Chestnut and Ivy useful for the fluidity of bronchial secretions and the first respiratory tract functionality promoting the mitigation of the cough impulse.

Recommended for adults and children.

Children: a teaspoon 3 times per day, diluted in lukewarm water;

IVY:

Ivy leaves has an expectorant and antispasmodic activity; this plant is employed as a natural remedy in the event of cough. Moreover, lately, many medical studies proved the effectiveness of ivy extract to mitigate infections symptoms of the respiratory tract.

SUNDEWS:

The sundews represents a useful remedy to soothe the dry cough because it has a muscle relaxants activity, able to mitigate, at a peripheral level, the cramps peculiar of coughing.

THYME:

The thyme is provided with a antibacterial and antiseptic activity, thanks to the presence of the thymol and the carvacrol. This activity is very useful in the cough treatment because, frequently, the ailment origin is viral or bacterial.

CHESTNUT:

Chestnut leaves, rich in tannins, have a good astringent activity; so they are useful to mitigate the cough, thanks to the relaxation of the smooth muscles, and to disinfect the respiratory tract.

PAPAVER:

Papaver flower extract is used in the cough treatment, as for its efficiency in the mitigation of muscular spasm. This extract is provided with an expectorant activity and a diaphoretic action, useful in the event of fever due to the cold or the flu.
